Not only do they taste great, there's a huge variety of edible mushrooms that can be prepared in a myriad of ways.

When roasted they can be meaty and satisfy the most ardent carnivore. When sauteed they can be delicate, soft, and subtle.

Dried, fresh, whole, chopped mushrooms bring an earthiness to any dish and they also have great health benefits.
